The Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) are official examinations and accredit levels of competence in the Spanish Language. They are offered at 3 levels, Elementary, Intermediate and Higher. The examinations are organized by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Science and take place twice a year.
The Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE), can be prepared in intensive courses in July and August for the exams held in August and in extensive courses from September to May.
In summer months, in addition to the morning course chosen, there are 10 classes a week in small groups in the afternoon for specific exam preparation . If there are only one or two students with the same level choosing this course, classes will be reduced to 5 lessons per week.
Students wishing to sit the DELE exams must have the following levels of Spanish at the outset of the course:
Inicial (B1): S tudents must have an Intermediate level.
Intermedio (B2): Students should be at Advanced level.
Higher (C2): Proficiency level of Spanish is required.
Original material of previous exams and edited for the DELE is used. The examination fee is NOT included in our prices.
