The objectives of the project are:
- Developing receptiveness towards the supply and demand of the tourist market;
- Acquiring sound knowledge and professional abilities in the field of tourism;
- Increasing systematic monitoring and the anticipation of the market demands - a process that involves a scientific approach to the economic and social environment;
- Acquiring a unitary vision of the chain of activities starting from the moment of conception of the tourist product to consumption.
- Development of the linguistic and communication skills necessary in the field of tourism;
- Enhancing the training of students as future European Citizens competitive on the labour market.
The project also focuses on the development of the communication skills necessary and training in the methods and techniques used by specialized personnel in this field.
The project involved the placement of a group of 14 students.
The purpose was to develop students’ abilities in the organization of tourist activities in general, and of agrotourism in particular, and also to promote the concept of rural tourism from an ecological and cultural point of view with the purpose of preserving nature and developing local communities.
