Objective:
EUROCHANCEis a pilot project within the framework of the European Leonardo daVinci Programme, as a result of which online English and Germanmodules have beendesigned and developed for blind and visually impaired people. Theoverall aim of the project is to decrease the rate of unemploymentamong blindand visually impaired people by increasing their foreign languagecompetences in English and German so that they can access jobsdifferent from those in which they are traditionally employed.

Products and results :

• Online vocational English and German courses for blind and visually impaired users.
The product consists of two levels for each language (intermediate and advanced).

• Guide to opportunities on the labour market for the blind and visually impaired.
• Special software and user interface libraries adapted to the needs of the blind and visually impaired.
