Objective:
INVEST is a Leonardo da Vinci transnational pilot project which seeks to promote sustainable tourism in rural communities by the introduction of a system leading to a pa-European vocational qualification. The qualification structure will provide formal training and certification in the specific areas of gamekeeping, farming/crofting, equestrianism, rangering/environmental interpretation. This will allow communities in remote areas to receive internationally recognised and relevant education, in order to establish a network for alternative rural tourism.
